The Versioning Sidebar in SmowCode is an essential tool for managing collaboration within projects. It provides a user-friendly interface for version control, enabling users to view, create, and manage branches effectively.

  1. View and Create Branches:

    • Users can easily create new branches for their work, enabling independent development without affecting the main codebase.
    • Features like Auto Save ensure that changes are automatically saved as users work.
    • The sidebar also supports Automatically Generated Commit Messages, streamlining the process of documenting changes made in each branch.
  2. View Commit History:

    • Users can track the history of changes made within the project, providing transparency and accountability.
    • The commit history displays detailed information about each change, including the author, date, and associated commit message.
  3. Merge Branches:

    • In cases of conflicts, users can merge branches through the sidebar, allowing for efficient resolution of discrepancies between different lines of development.
    • The merging process is designed to help users understand and manage conflicts, ensuring a smoother integration of changes.

Access Code from Repository

Users can visit https://cloud.smowcode.com to access their project's smow files for troubleshooting.

One-time credentials (is to be changed by the user after first login) for accessing the repository are mailed to the registered email address. Please contact support if any there is any trouble logging in to cloud portal.
